What to do for teenagers on Friday nights?

Our Secondary Schools Basketball competition offers great competitive entertainment for school kids on a Friday night. School teams travel from as far and wide as Ashburton, Mackenzie and Waimate to join the action. 

The competition runs May - August annually with games held on Friday nights. Aorangi Stadium is the hub of the competition with 3 courts going all night. Games are also played at the Roncalli College, Timaru Boys High and Craighead gymnasiums. 

Competitions are graded, with a range of Junior (years 9-10) and Senior (years 11-13) grades for teams to enter.
